Terms of Sale

The owner of the online store www.melie.ee (hereinafter referred to as the online store) is Melie OÜ (registry code 16382624), located at Üksnurme tee 8, 75501 Saku, Estonia.

General Provisions

The terms of the user agreement apply to the purchase of goods from the melie.ee e-store.

The parties to the contract are guided by the Law of Obligations Act, other laws and other legal acts of the Republic of Estonia and what is agreed in the Terms of Use when regulating their mutual relations.

The online store has the right to make changes to the offered online store service at any time.

The online store has the right to unilaterally change the terms of the user agreement without the obligation to inform the customer of the online store about this in writing by e-mail.

The online store’s customer has the right to download or print out the Terms of Use, which ensures the possibility of saving and reproducing the relevant information on a permanent data medium.

The validity of a contract of sale, product and price information

The conditions of sale apply to purchases of goods from the online store.

The displayed product images are for illustrative purposes.

The prices of the products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products. A shipping fee is added to the price.

The shipping cost depends on the location of the purchaser and the shipping method. The shipping cost is displayed when the purchaser places the order.

All prices are in Euros (€).

Product information is provided immediately adjacent to the product in the online store.

Placing an order

Add the desired products to your shopping basket to order them. Fill in all of the required fields and choose the most suitable shipping method to complete the order. The total cost is then displayed on the screen. This can be paid securely via the following payment methods provided:

  • Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Finnish bank payments
  • card payments: Visa / MasterCard
  • via bank transfer

When using a bank link payment confirm the order and then click on the “Return to merchant” button.

The personal data necessary for the execution of payments are transferred to the authorized processor. The contract enters into force when the amount payable is transferred to the bank account of the online store.

The buyer is fully responsible for the correctness of the data provided. If the Buyer does not provide accurate personal data, the Seller is not responsible for the resulting consequences and has the right to demand that the Buyer compensates for direct damage.

If we cannot deliver the ordered goods due to stock running out or for any other reason, the purchaser will be informed as soon as possible and the money paid (including the shipping cost) will be refunded promptly, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.

Shipment

Goods are shipped to the following countries: Estonia and EU countries.

The buyer undertakes to accept the goods himself or to indicate the person who will accept the goods during the preparation of the Order. If the Buyer (or another specified person) is not able to receive the goods and the goods have been proven delivered to the specified address and based on other documents provided by the Buyer, the Buyer does not have the right to submit claims to the Seller that the goods were delivered to the wrong subject.

The purchaser bears the shipping cost and the respective price information is displayed next to the shipping method.

All shipments within Estonia generally arrive at the destination specified by the purchaser within 3 – 5 business days of the date of entry into force of the contract of sale. All shipments outside of Estonia are guaranteed to arrive within 5 -10 calendar days.

Right of withdrawal

After receiving the order, the purchaser has the right to withdraw from the contract entered into with the e-store within 14 days.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the purchaser is a legal person.

You have the right to cancel the order and return the products if the products are unused and undamaged, including in the original packaging and stored and transported under the conditions stated on the packaging.

To return the goods, you must submit a written withdrawal statement from the purchase of the goods and send it to the e-mail address info@melie.ee within 14 days of receiving the goods at the latest. The online store confirms receipt of the withdrawal statement to the Buyer by e-mail.

The purchaser must return the goods within 14 days of the submission of the declaration of withdrawal or submit evidence that they handed over the goods to the carrier within the aforementioned period.

The online store will refund the cost of the order (excluding shipping costs) to the buyer immediately upon receipt of the returned goods, but no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal request, provided that the returned products are in good condition.

The costs of returning the goods are borne by the seller if the reason for the return is that the product to be returned does not match the one ordered.

The online store has the right to refuse to make a refund until the goods being returned are received.

If the buyer has chosen a different form of shipment than the cheapest usual form of shipment offered by the online store, the store is not required to compensate for the cost exceeding the usual shipping cost.

The online store has the right to withdraw from the sale and demand that the goods be returned by the purchaser if the marked price of the goods in the online store is significantly lower than the market price of the goods due to an error.

Processing of personal data

The e-shop uses the personal data entered by the buyer only to process the order and send the goods to the buyer. The e-shop transmits personal data to companies providing transport services to deliver the goods.

Settlement of disputes

All complaints made by a purchaser about the online store must be e-mailed.

If the purchaser and the online store are not able to settle the dispute by agreement, the purchaser may contact the Consumer Dispute Committee. The Consumer Dispute Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from a contract between a purchaser and the online store. The resolution of disputes by the Consumer Dispute Committee is free of charge for the purchaser.

A purchaser may also turn to the dispute resolution bodies of the European Union.
